Our story
Jeff has been designing and creating most of his adult life~ primarily as an artist but dabbling in several inventions including a patented golf putter and a business he called "Oh Bands". He gives credit to his dad as his inspiration for anything to be possible. “He taught me at a young age how to be innovative and to solve problems with creativity."
Growing up in Illinois and moving to California soon after, Jeff has experienced many lifestyles. Although both were great places to live, Cass Lake, Minnesota is the place that left an indelible impression on Jeff. Having spent his summers there as a kid- it would be the place 40 years later he would marry his teenage crush, which would ultimately be the spark to reignite a surge of creativity for this couple. This time including his love for fishing.
As an avid muskie and pike fisherman, Jeff created and refined a muskie lure line and his wife Bonnie, an entrepreneur cultivated the plan. They built a new home together where they could create and manufacture the lures. Two provisional patents later and the release of their “airhead lures” in both Gander outdoors and Mills Fleet Farm stores have the company on the precipice of success.
